Gamespy, Solution two

thnx for writing the nifty utility.  i just thought i'd pass on that i found another solution to the gamespy problem.
i initially tried q3namething and the fix for gamespy that he offered for those of us with q3test in a dir other than c:\
and it only worked once and then stopped.  i went to your site today and tried your name caddy and when i was copying
my name into my q3 config i decided to try making a new player profile in gamespy and copying it into there as well.
i noticed when setting up a new player in gamespy that there isn't an option for making a q3 profile yet so i just
made a q2 player profile and had it as the active player (appears in the gamespy title bar) and joined a game of q3test.
it worked, no need to tinker with batch files.  i hope this helps.
